Launching today in all Netflix territories excluding the US and Canada came the premiere episode for new sci-fi series, Star Trek: Discovery. Celebrating the launch, the streaming service delivered a brilliant minute-long teaser trailer, showcasing just how the Klingons are looking for war as soon as this new adventure starts. Check it out below:

Netflix also revealed that every episode of the 15-episode first season will be available to watch on the streamer with Klingon subtitles, so that the most super of fans can test their knowledge and brush up on their Klingon.

Following the voyages of Starfleet on missions that haven’t yet been chronicled in the Star Trek franchise, Discovery will focus primarily on Starfleet Officer Michael Burnham, played by former The Walking Dead star Sonequa Martin-Green. Encountering new species, planets and being forced to face some major challenges along the way, her journey is set to be one of the most exciting the Star Trek universe has ever seen.

The Klingons will see Starfleet as an opportunity to rise up from their dormant state, initiating a war that could see them wiped out, or gain ultimate power against some of the universe's most technologically-advanced characters.

As one of the most iconic and influential global franchises the world has ever seen, Star Trek has this week made its television return five decades after its initial debut. Receiving positive reviews following last night’s premiere, Discovery seems to be on the right course and hopefully, when viewership comes in for the episode, it’ll be a mighty sight and something that continues as the series makes its full-time move to CBS All Access in the US.
