The star- who was crowned 'Celebrity Big Brother' winner on Friday (26.08.16) - dumped Lillie on national television after locking lips with fellow housemate Chloe Khan and bizarrely claimed he did it for her own good.

When host Emma Willis asked him why he couldn't wait until he left the house to break up with Lillie, Stephen claimed he was trying to prevent her from getting hurt like his last girlfriend.

Emma continued to grill Bear, saying: "Couldn't you have waited after the show to break up with Lillie?" but he refused to take it the question seriously and only replied with, "Couldn't you have worn a red dress?"

Bear also claimed he knew all along he was going to win and insisted he brought positivity to the house, despite numerous clashes with his fellow housemates.

He said: "Honestly, I knew I was going to win. As people get to know me, why wouldn't they vote for me. It's all about a positive mental attitude and I knew I would win.

"I was as fun as possible and as positive as possible. I never bitched about anyone in there. I think I'm a good diffuser of situations."

During his exit interview, former 'EastEnders' actor Ricky Norwood - who placed second - admitted he had changed his opinion on Bear after Lillie came into the house to confront him.

He explained: "The biggest thing was when his ex Lillie came in. As soon as she came in, all his defences broke. I saw a man in pain and in anguish and I felt like I had seen the real Bear for the first time.

"He's the most unpredictable guy I've ever met in my life."

And Ricky revealed he was shocked to make it to the final, because he thought he would have been voted out much earlier.

He said: "I thought I was going to be out last week so to come in second makes no sense. I'm so glad that I made it this far, it's been a great journey.

"It was super difficult in there at times. To be in a nuthouse, as I've called it, put a lot of pressure on me. Watching the show is one thing and being on it is another."
