The controversial housemate was crowned the winner of the reality TV show on Friday's (26.08.16) live final, after beating off stiff competition from Ricky Norwood, who finished second.

The announcement by host Emma Willis was greeted by boos from the crowd, while Ricky immediately gave the champion a hug.

'Mob Wives' star Renee Graziano placed third, with Marnie Simpson, Aubrey O'Day and Frankie Grande finishing fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.

After her exit, Marnie admitted she couldn't believe she had made the final.

She said: "I can't believe it. I didn't take more than a week's worth of clothing. I think it's because all the negativity and hate I've had from 'Geordie Shore'. I've never been a 'Geordie Shore' favourite."

She also insisted her romance with Lewis Bloor in the house was the real thing.

She said: "He was my best friend in there. The days were going so quick when I was with him. When he left I was depressed. I felt like I was going through a break up.

"I didn't expect to feel the way I felt. It turned into something a lot more deeper than that.

"I was so overwhelmed with how I was feeling for him, and I've never really felt like that."

During her exit interview with host Emma, Aubrey spoke of her complicated relationship with Bear, who managed to upset a number of his fellow contestants with his behaviour.

She said: "Everything in that house is draining. It's much smaller than it looks. If someone has anxiety, everyone has anxiety.'

"I've always felt consistently about Bear. I don't think he's a horrible person. He's a lot more difficult than anyone can realise.

"I think he's young at heart and will always be that way."

And Frankie believes he didn't win because his fanbase is "primarily in America".

He said: "I don't understand how the voting works to be honest. My fanbase is primarily in America I think that would make a difference.

"That's why I feel like a champion. I'm just happy I got to shine bright for the UK and meet so many new friends."
