With Warner Bros. Television now working hard on putting together the full first season of Supergirl for CBS, the show has this past week been filming its second episode, with a behind-the-scenes featurette dropping and promising a lot of action to come.
The pilot episode is complete, but now Melissa Benoist must step into the shoes of Kara Zor-El - Supergirl - for a whole batch of new episodes, showing off her character's abilities including flight, super-speed and super-strength.
Presumably from the second episode of the show, filmed in Los Angeles, new photographs have emerged of Benoist on-set costumed as Supergirl, effortlessly holding up an ambulance in a scene we've not seen before.
Casual photos from the set have also been leaked, with one in particular showing Benoist walking a dog between takes with her iPhone in her hand. (Though it's possible this could be a kooky scene in the show!)
Supergirl also starts Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, Calista Flockhart, Chyler Leigh and David Harewood.
The series premieres on CBS at 8.30pm EST on October 26, broadcasting at 8pm EST on Mondays thereafter.
