Susanna Reid fears her career may be harmed by Good Morning Britain.
The 43-year-old star - who sensationally quit 'BBC Breakfast' to host the new ITV breakfast show - is worried that her TV stardom may take a hit if the show is axed.
Ratings have repeatedly fallen, leading to speculation the show - which replaced 'Daybreak' - could be taken off air and replaced with cartoons.
A source said: "Susanna is not happy with how things are going as she is the figurehead of the show and fears her name is on the line."
Meanwhile, producers have been holding crisis talks to try and reverse GMB's fortunes.
Among the ideas considered include a relaunch in the autumn and perhaps ditching the large glass desk Susanna and co-hosts Ben Shephard, Charlotte Hawkins and Sean Fletcher sit behind.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "We all thought things couldn't get any worse after 'Daybreak'.
"GMB's editor is in constant meetings with executives. Everyone is constantly trying to second-guess what people up there want and there are a lot of crisis meetings going on.
"Everyone is scratching their heads about what to do."
However, an ITV spokeswoman has denied any crisis talks or a relaunch.
She said: "We are proud of the show and the new format."
