MTV revealed this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con International that Teen Wolf has been renewed for its sixth season.

Despite the creator of the show now preparing for the launch of another project at a different network and the successful launch of Scream on the same network in the same summer season, the clocks aren't winding down for Teen Wolf just yet.

Creator Jeff Davis announced to the world on the Teen Wolf panel that the show had been picked up once more, but he failed to mention how many episodes would be included in the new batch.

On a current creative high, the age of the characters in the show could eventually become an issue - the series is called Teen Wolf after all, and the core group will still only be teenagers for two more years following graduation.

Could the series stretch and continue to exist outside Beacon Hills High? Or could a brand new set of characters be brought in to revamp the series once our current flock come of age?

Nothing is confirmed yet, but something that is definite is that Teen Wolf airs Mondays in America at 10pm on MTV.
