Tom Fletcher has hinted he's set to join 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.

The McFly frontman sent rumours into overdrive earlier this week when he uploaded a photograph of a cockroach sitting on a bed of stuffing that he'd received in the post.

He accompanied the suspicious upload with the caption: "You know it's going to be a cool package when you open it to find this," followed by a scream face and thumbs up.

Although he's yet to comment on the speculation, the 31-year-old singer won't be the first member of the band to head into the jungle as Dougie Poynter agreed to take part in the creepy-crawly show in 2011 and, in turn, went on to be crowned the winner.

However, it's highly unlikely the songwriter has a window in his busy schedule to throw on his jungle gear and escape Down Under for three weeks as he's just released his new children's book 'The Christmasaurus' and has two young children Buzz, two, and Buddy, eight months, to care for with his wife Giovanna Fletcher.

But it seems bosses are determined to pull out all the stops with this year's line up as they've reportedly offered Carol Vorderman a six-figure deal to take part.

And she's not the only one set to receive the big bucks as comedian Danny Baker is also on the hit list for the forthcoming series following his cancer all-clear.

A source said recently: "Danny has become this year's highest-paid celebrity in the jungle so far with a six-figure sum. He's a real broadcasting legend, so show bosses were desperate to sign him [...]

"Danny is absolutely buzzing to be heading into 'I'm A Celeb...' He's always been a fan of the show and can't wait to be thrust back into the public eye again having stepped out of the spotlight for some time to battle the disease. He's a big personality and bosses think he's going to bring a lot of banter and laughter into the camp."

The broadcasting legend's signing comes just days after he announced he was free from cancer following a six-year battle with the disease in his mouth and throat.

He said: "Six years ago I was diagnosed with no doubt, big time, proper full on cancer. Of the head & neck! But I'm all clear now. It's beatable. #NHS (sic)"

Other names in the frame for this year's show include former footballer Robbie Savage, actress Helen Lederer and model Lisa Snowdon.

'Red Dwarf' actor Craig Charles is also rumoured to be returning to the programme.

He previously spent four days in the jungle two years ago but his stint was cut short after his brother Dean tragically died from a heart attack.

And the former 'Coronation Street' star may not be the only previous contestant to make a return to the outback as Spencer Matthews is also in the rumoured line up.

The 'Made in Chelsea' hunk joined the show last year but was forced to leave just a few days into his stint after producers found out he was taking steroids.
