Leading social video platform Twitch have announced that they’ll be hosting a 17-day marathon of the iconic Power Rangers television series, bringing 23 seasons and all 831 episodes of Saban’s incredible offering to fans one more time before the new movie hits the big screen at the end of the month.

Those who subscribe to the TwitchPresents channel during the streaming marathon will receive exclusive access to Power Rangers-themed emotes, while streamers can also co-stream the marathon and bring the show to their fans in one of the most interactive Rangers experiences the world has ever seen.

Annie Berrones, Product Marketing Director at Twitch comments: “Guided by feedback from our community, Twitch has been focusing on content beyond gaming that nurtures the culture around their interests, whether it be anime, art, cooking, or pop culture, in general.

“As an iconic sci-fi, superhero franchise that achieved legacy status over the past two decades, Power Rangers fits right into our community’s wheelhouse.”

Following the launch of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers back in 1993, Saban’s series became the most-watched children’s program of all time, and is still regarded as the longest-running kids’ action series in TV history, cementing itself in pop culture legacy.

As frontrunners in the worlds of television, movies, comic books, merchandise and more, it’s fair to say that the Power Rangers are a superhero group that are sure to go down in history.

New live-action movie Power Rangers will be released by Lionsgate and Saban Brands on March 24, 2017. All 831 episodes of the series begin streaming on Twitch on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
