He's moved on from dogs, all the way to South Africa and Zambia to meet some orphaned animals in a brand new factual series for ITV.

Encountering all sorts of species including elephants, penguins and hippos amongst others, Paul delves into the world of these animals who have been through hardships, but are now being hand-rearer by humans.

Most of those that he meets are without their parents because of humans, such as baby elephant Nkala (pictured below) whose mother and father were killed by poachers.

The natural habitats of some of the creatures have also been destroyed or encroached upon, leading to human intervention so that they can survive in an environment that's close to the one they should be living in, in the wild.

Getting hands-on as ever, Paul helps to care for and rehabilitate the animals, making friends with them along the way.
