Following the news that a Prison Break revival is being developed and could come to FOX sooner rather than later, we've decided to take a look back at five of the series' most shocking moments - which were some of your favourites?

5. The President's incestuous sister-brother relationship

At one time being the Vice President, Caroline Reynolds decided it was her time to move up in the world and secretly poisoned her predecessor. Meeting with Reynolds in an attempt to blackmail her, Michael discovers the awful truth that the President has been having an incestuous affair with her presumed-dead biological brother Terrence. Grim stuff.

4. Veronica's murder

Nobody expected the second season of the show to kick off with such a... bang. Pun intended. The entire first season saw Veronica campaigning for Lincoln to be freed, but when she discovered that the man Lincoln was accused of killing was alive, she went to a secluded house and found Terrence Steadman. Putting in a call to tell Linc the good news, she received a bullet in the head for her efforts.

3. Sara's head is delivered to Lincoln in a box

With the brother's plan going wrong in season three and Sara seemingly losing her life because of just that, Lincoln returned home to find her head delivered in a box. With Michael blissfully unaware, it actually turned out that Sara was alive and she popped up again in season four - head still attached to the rest of her body.

2. T-Bag cuts off his own hand

With plenty of enemies now he's on the run from Fox River, T-Bag was a man who faced trouble no matter where he ran. Going to gain revenge on his ex, the cops were called after Bellick handcuffed T-Bag to a radiator, but not wanting to get caught he made the powerful move of cutting off his hand - hard scenes to watch!

1. Michael reveals his tattoo to Lincoln

All the way back in the very first episode of the series, Michael is confined to Fox River State Penitentiary for armed robbery at a bank and asks to speak to Lincoln Burrows. Viewers then learn that this is his brother, and following a tense reunion Michael reveals just why he's joining his sibling on the inside - to break him out. Shocked and appalled, Michael then reveals just how he's going to do it - his trump card - the blueprints of the prison tattoed on his body.
