Dannii Minogue thinks people forget she has feelings.
'The X Factor' judge said she has been unfairly compared with other people, including fellow panellists Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh, since she has appeared on the show.
Dannii famously clashed with Sharon Osbourne when she were both judges of the show in 2007, and was reduced to tears by Louis in one episode of last year's series.
She said: "I think there was a time when it was fun and acceptable to say, 'Ha ha, we don't like Dannii. Or Sharon's being mean or Louis is being mean, or she's older and not as pretty as Cheryl', and, 'ha ha, let's fling something else at her!'
He said, 'I'm so sorry for the things that were said
"At the end of the day, I'm a very real person with real feelings.
"I've always been pitched against people -There's always going to be someone younger, prettier and better at everything than me, but I can only be me.
"I don't wake up in the morning and go, 'who am I not as good as?' "
Dannii - who said she found appearing on the ITV show hard last year after dealing with the death of her best friend and helping her sister, pop star Kylie, overcome cancer - added Louis has recently apologised for the way he treated her on the show, when he accused her of stealing a song he had planned his act to sing.
She said to New! magazine: "He said, 'I'm so sorry for the things that were said. I had no idea what
you've been through.' And I said 'now you've found out that I was really, really hurting and vulnerable and fragile, I'm glad you've apologised. It means a lot to me.' "
