Bush Tucker Trial - Hell Hole Extreme

Ant and Dec told Katie that the public had voted her to do the Bush Tucker Trial for the fourth time.  But she reacted badly, threatening to refuse to do it.
 
"I can’t do it.  I’ve had enough.  Can you believe that, I can’t do pot holes.  I’ll try my hardest to get you something.  I don’t think I am going to get it.  I’ll try my best.  I’m so drained from it I don’t know if I’ve got the energy to do it any more.  I’ve had enough of it.  The torture.  I feel like I’m being executed every day."
 
She continued, "I’m a bit pissed off to be honest because it’s just how much more can a person take.  People have seen me do it now.  Let someone else have a go."
 
But Lucy said "I think Katie loves the attention.  That’s what she’s about.  She’s an exhibitionist.  She likes standing there in her little see through knickers and stuff.  She’s alright.  She can handle it.
 
And Kim said "She came in her to get loads of publicity and by jove she’s getting it so don’t ask for what you want because you might get it and I think that probably she loves it."

The Trial

Katie won nine stars and nine meals for camp - six for Base Camp and 3 for Exile.  But she found it a struggle to muster up the strength and courage to complete the trial.
 
Katie was welcomed to the trials area by hosts Ant and Dec.  She said "I am a little bit annoyed that I’ve had to come here again, I’ve had enough of doing them.  Today I was thinking positive thoughts.  I don’t know what they’re saying at home.  As you can see I’m not smiling."
 
Looking up at a 60 foot rock face she said "I hate heights.  Looking at that I can’t bear it.  I’m going to fall."
 
There were six holes on a rock face.  Each hole contained a puzzle with two stars and Katie had a fifteen minute time limit.
 
"It’s pretty high.  I can only do my best."  said Katie, "I’m not really buzzing today because I’m fed up with having to come and do them but today is really pressure.  Imagine if I said no.  That’s not fair on them.  I’m going to have to give it a go."
 
Katie climbs up the rock face and punches her hand into the first hole.  "Just do it.  It’s all in your head" she said to herself, as she tentatively punched at the hole.  It was full of beetles called leaf mimicks but she retrieved two stars.
 
She climbed further and got to the next hole.  It was full of spiders, but she found the two stars.  She continued to climb and exclaimed, "I’m going to die."  The next hole contained a rat.  "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty" she said and gain retrieved two stars."
 
The next hole contained a snake and again she got two.  As she climbed higher, water rained down on her.  There was a lizard in the hole.  She retrieved one but ran out of time before grabbing the second making a total of nine stars for camp.
 
"That was petrifying" she said.  Ant and Dec explained that Base camp would all get fed leaving three for exile.  "They’ll know I got nine so they’ll know I will have tried my hardest.  I’m happy but I’m not happy the others aren’t going to get a full meal like us but I did try."
 
I really reckon I’m going to end up doing them all now.  There’s only about three left to go."
 
Dec asked if she thought that the public were trying to punish her for something  "Probably because I’m the baddie apparently as people think but I am a good person and I love it in camp because the more I get to know them the more banter and cheerier I’m getting.  I know I’m not a bad person and yet in a way I do feel like I’m being punished."
