I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here The Exiles

Back in base camp disagreements have started to surface, as the majority of the camp had wanted to smuggle food into exile.  Jimmy suggested that they could get a package together of food but Colin and Joe disagreed. 

Joe later said that he would arm wrestle anyone who tries to sneak food out of camp, he said, "If the food is mine I’ll fight for it, not physically of course I’m talking about arm wrestling.  I f anybody wants to challenge me I don’t think there’s anybody there who can beat me except maybe Kim.  Kim could beat me."  

 
Sabrina Defends Stuart

Whilst provisions might be low, the celebrities over in base camp were bonding.  So much so none of them wanted to take part in the battles, preferring to stay in exile than join the others in base camp.

Addressing the group ahead of the battle, Stuart said "Do you know what, I was thinking early on?  When our teams were picked we knew one team were coming here and one team was going there.  I knew that I could live without the other people but I know I couldn’t live without you guys."

They all agreed and Kim added "Please don’t misunderstand me but I believe with all my heart and soul and I’m not running them down.  I will say there are four or five people, four people among those six who’ll stab you in the back to win.  I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with them, that’s the way they are."

Whereas in base camp, there was a rumble in the jungle when Sabrina leapt to Stuart’s defence as she and Joe discussed his career prospects.  Stuart had previously said that he wanted to pursue a career in Hollywood.
 
But Joe had serious doubts that he would make it.  "He’s going to America?  I hope he’s got a lot of money.  What I’m saying is if you’re going to try and land a position in America today then you live this lifestyle or you don’t make it at all.  It’s totally overloaded with stars of all shapes and sizes.
 
But Sabrina thought that Joe was being negative and passionately defended her friend.  "That’s a bit cloak and dagger.  That’s true but at the end of the day nothing’s impossible.  I’m saying at the end of the day if you have a dream and you pursue the only time you fail is when you stop."
 
In the Bush Telegraph Sabrina said, "I don’t know if Joe is trying to ruffle feathers as obviously he’s older than a lot of us, so he’s seen a lot more.  But I like positive energy around me I don’t like to be negative." 

Later Joe said to Colin "I think she’s pretty thick Sabrina.  I said, Sabrina let me tell you something, when I lived in America for over ten years do you know how you know how many I did? And I was world renowned.  Two.  I said the fact I was able to go back into boxing and earn hundreds of thousands of pounds.  I said just think about it, I was able to live there.  What is Stuart going to do.  I’m making enemies not friends."
 
Later he said, "I just want them to realise that when I say something its not because I want to offend then all of be nasty to them.  It’s because I want to protect them.  I think I’m going to have a ball in the next few days because they’re either going to come around to my way or scratch my eyes.sABRINA

Bush Battle
The celebrities staying in exile faced their first bush battle to earn a place back in base camp and immunity from the first eviction.

Standing in front of a cylinder pole the celebrities had to stop the water leaking out of the tube.  If the water got below the white line they would be eliminated from the battle.  They had to use one fingers to block the holes on either side of the tube.

Having bonded over their first night in exile, the team decided to make a pact and remove their hands at the same time.  Lucy counted to three but she was the only celebrities to do so and was the first out.  Next up was Sam, followed by Kim then Gino.  Leaving Stuart and George to battle it out.

Sam, Kim, Gino and Lucy commented on George’s competitiveness as he had said he would quit but refused to move his hands.  George made his fellow celebrities laugh by saying, "You know who taught me all this?  Katie.  ‘Oh I can’t take another minute of it, oh my god, oh this hurts so bad.  I think I’m going to have to give up right now.’"

He then counted to ten and removed his hands making Stuart as the winner.  As his team congratulated him Stuart said, "I decided to take one for the team."

Stuart returned to base camp and was greeted by his fellow celebrities who commented that they all guessed it he would be the first one back.
