I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Gino Smells A Rat

Exile Camp were living on a diet of rice and beans and were becoming increasingly concerned that if one of them were voted for a Bush Tucker Trial, they wouldn’t have the strength to complete it.

Gino took matters into his own hands and as a trained chef in animal preparation, he caught, killed, and cooked a rat.

The camp had been talking about their rations.  Stuart said "We need protein.  We’ve got to get on with it and do it.  If we’re going to be fit and ready for the trials we’ve just got to do it guys."

Gino explained "I’ll open his stomach, clean him up, and fillet him."  George pointed out that if any of the camp mates didn’t want to eat the rat then they would have to put it in the meal at the end.

Kim initially said no but relented when both Lucy and Sam said yes.

Gino explained in the Bush Telegraph "It’s not done by choice but its done because we need it.  We need some kind of protein; we need some kind of flavour."

Gino presented the skinned rat and put the pieces in a pot with some beans.  "Filleted, unbelievable.  How did you do that?" said George.

All of the celebrities agreed that the rat tasted good.  "It was actually quite nice.  We all said it was like chicken but chickeny beefy kind of stuff so it was actually very nice.  George said "if you kill it you should eat it."

And Gino said, "I was so proud that none of them said anything.  They ate it, they loved it and it is a fantastic experience they will never forget so everybody’s good."

And Lucy commented "Do you know what.  It was better than the crocodile foot we ate so I think if I had to choose between the two I’d have rat again!"

Morning Glory
The camp mates wake to their first morning in their separate camps.

Sabrina, Jimmy, Katie, Colin, Justin and Joe awake fresh and well fed.  Sabrina commented, "It’s amazing, feels like a spa.  Went to bed with a full stomach which made such a difference.  Everyone’s spirits are really high."

Joe asked Katie how she felt having opting to sleep in the "nudey."

Refreshed from a good nights sleep, Katie replied, "Do you know I’m as nude as I’m in my baby suit and it’s fantastic, it feels like home."

Colin quipped to Joe, "Stop grinning.  It’s too early to perv."

Laughing, Joe replied, "I was just trying to make an observation.  Listen at my age that’s all we have left.  It’s that wonderful feeling of being observant.  We do have a bit of decorum even in the Bush."

Over in exile, Kim, George, Sam, Lucy and Gino had a very different nights sleep.  Stuart complained that he had eight mosquito bites whilst Sam Fox was upset to find a tic in her head which she had to get removed.

She later said:  "As you do in the morning you have a little feel about.  I thought no I’ve never felt that before."

As the camp mates all set about checking for tics, Gino advised Stuart to "Check your balls.  I do before I get out of the bed."  A relived Stuart did a quick check and replied, "No, they’re alright."

After Joe’s detailed descriptions of the animal life found in the jungle, Lucy admitted how this had affected the group, she said, "Good ol’ Joe Bugner making you all paranoid about feeling in your hair and stuff.  We’ve got to check each other like baboons I think whilst we’re in this camp."

Everyone is showing their true colours now. Sabrina is selfish, Stuart is self obsessed and Kim is just plain bossy and over braering. I want Gino to win and George to be runner up.
