OCCUPATION: ActressNikki grew up in Bury, Manchester. Her first screen role was as Abby in kid's soap Children's Ward. Obviously starting as she meant to go on, she then shot to fame at the age of 15 in 2000 playing Candice Stowe in ITV1s Coronation Street.In 2005 viewers saw Candice leave the famous cobbled street to tour with Stauts Quo. Since leaving the street Nikki has not been short of work and has presented on CD:UK and Saturday Showdown, as well as guest starring on BBCs Casualty and Holby City.More recently she has appeared in a new BBC 1 drama called New Street Law playing a juvenile criminal Sammy Dean.Nikki has taken part in a wide selection of singing events including, Stars in their Eyes as Leanne Rimes and Britney Spears, and sang ‘Lady Marmalade’ on ITVs Disco Mania, and ‘Like a prayer’ on Madonna Mania, Nikki also took part in Abba ManiaTo read the X Factor interview with Matt click here
