Big Brother Australia has decided to follow on from Big Brother UK's summer theme, handing power to housemates throughout the new series in ways that will see them make decisions to affect their time in the house.
Also announced was that the housemates this year will be working and playing the game together as a pair.

Those in power - known as the Heads of House - are to be given advantages never before seen in the house, including security and perks whilst making game-changing decisions.
This year also sees a fully digital and integrated platform added to the show, allowing viewers more interaction and engagement than ever before.
"Australia, this year it is power to the people. Your first chance to control what happens in my House. You decide more than just who stays and who goes."
Sonia Kruger is back at the helm for her third season and said: "This is without a doubt going to be the most exciting series we've ever seen.
"I also hear our 2014 Housemates are the most opinionated and most controversial ever, and buttons will be pushed."
Big Brother AU continues tonight, Tuesday September 9 at 8.40pm, and the same time Wednesday and Thursday on Channel Nine.
