In a first for Big Brother Canada, the fate of this season's first evictee was put into the hand of viewers who decided to send home 41-year-old Risha Denner. Despite thinking her time was up, Risha was told by host Arisa Cox upon her eviction that there will be a chance for her to re-enter the house in the coming weeks, and because of that she will be put back into sequester.

"I didn't give up, I fought the whole time, I tried to connect with people and just be myself. You can't fake yourself in there."

This comes after Monday's season three premiere that saw 16 strangers quickly learn that nothing in the Big Brother Canada house is sacred. Moving into the steampunk-themed household, a 70-day journey was kicked off with only one winner to come out of the other end with the $100,000 prize.

Realising that all of their furniture and belongings were locked inside a vault, the first twist of the season came when all houseguests were told to make two nominations each, landing Risha and Sindy on the block. Luckily for Sindy, she took home the Power of Veto and replaced herself on the block with Pilar.

Sleeping on the floor for the first night, the next day saw everybody come together for a task where they had to hold huge balloons containing numbers above the ground for five hours each. Kevin was at this point given a secret task to sabotage the second balloon for $1,000 - something he succeeded at but not without suspicions from Sarah and Brittnee.

Eventually gaining access to The Vault, the houseguests had to move all of their furniture and belongings inside themselves - which they excelled at - ahead of the big eviction.

With Risha gone, at least for now, Big Brother Canada continues with the results of the first Head of House competition on Sunday, at 7pm ET/PT on Global.
