Following an incredibly strong launch show on January 7, Celebrity Big Brother has had its highest performing weekend on record since moving to Channel 5 in 2011.

Friday, January 16 saw 2.9 million viewers (13.2% share) tune in to see Chloe Goodman sent packing and new arrival Katie Price enter the house.

This dipped to 2.5 million viewers (11.4% share) on Saturday, January 17 when Perez Hilton and Alexander O'Neal clashed, resulting in a formal warning for the use of a homophobic slur for Alexander.

A new high was then set on Sunday, January 18, when 3.2 million people (13.2% share) watched Alexander O'Neal self-eject himself from the compound.

As one of the most explosive and controversial series of Celebrity Big Brother of all time, it has been the number one tweeted about television show every single day since its launch.
