Emma Willis will be returning to host the show, which will explore how the cast of women will interact, bringing in famous faces from a number of different industries. Politicians and performing artists are just a couple of teasers given as to who will be stepping through the CBB doors, but Channel 5 also make clear that male housemates will join the series at some point down the line.

The show will this series also challenge gender stereotypes and assumptions through a series of tasks and hidden experiments, bringing Big Brother right back to its roots and exploring what it’s like to be a woman – and a man – in the 21st century.

When women hold the power, anything can happen, and that’s what everybody will be finding out this January when Celebrity Big Brother makes its return.

Celebrity Big Brothers Bit On The Side will also be making its comeback, weeknights with host Rylan Clark-Neal.

Celebrity Big Brother launches in January 2018. We’ll bring you more details on the show as and when we get it.
