Perez Hilton and Kavana were evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house in last night's live double eviction.

Admitting he was "so happy" to be out of the house shortly after Kavana, Perez left to a hugely negative reaction.

Asked by host Emma Willis if he meant to rattle housemates with his antics, he told her in his post-eviction interview: "Absolutely. A lot of the time, yes."

He insisted however that he never meant to be "hurtful" like rival Katie Hopkins, as he has a "big heart".

"I would have enjoyed the house a lot more if Katie Hopkins was not there.

"The Perez Show was a defence mechanism. I got a lot of negative energy, so I did it to protect myself. It was me, but it was a way of allowing myself to not be hurt, covering my heart with a seal.

"I should probably think before I speak. I don't do that all the time."

Perez went on to say however that it wasn't Katie who was his biggest rival, but his brain.

"I regret going into that house. For the last week and a half I have had to take sleeping pills, prescribed by a doctor, because I couldn't turn my brain off."

Failing to bond with most of his housemates, Perez said he had found a "friend for life" in Nadia Sawalha, who he'd "trust with my son".

Asked who he wants to win, he replied Calum Best, but didn't say why.

Shortly before Perez's elimination, Kavana left the house to a mixed crowd, and said of the series: "I've never experienced anything like that in my entire life. I couldn't have imagined anything so twisted, weird, dark freak show."
