Caroline Flack has taken home the title of winner on this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The television presenter beat out Frankie Bridge and Simon Webbe in the show's final to be crowned on the BBC One dancing show.

Speaking about her win she said at the live final: "This is the best feeling in the whole world. This has been the best experience of my whole life because of all the brilliant contestants; they have been so supportive. They're the most lovely bunch of people. I've been so lucky to get to know you."

Caroline went on to add to her fans: "Thank you so much for voting. It's been so lovely to have your support."

Her professional dance partner Pasha Kovalev said: "'Strictly' is a big family... I'm glad Caroline experienced that and I could not imagine a better partner."

The former Xtra Factor host was the first ever contestant to get a perfect score of 120 in the final, being given the maximum of 40 for all three of her dances.

Viewers were wowed with a group performance mash-up of Captain and Tennile's 'Love Will Keep Us Together', Maxine Gayle's 'Right Back To Where We Started From' and Sister Sledge's 'We Are Family'.

All the eliminated contestants returned to the dancefloor one last time for that performance.

Take That were also present and performed a medley of some hits, including 'Greatest Day', 'Never Forget' and 'These Days'.
