The 30-year-old presenter - who has fronted the late-night chatty programme since 2011 - has turned her back on the jungle-based spin-off show after five "incredible years" at the helm in order to spread her wings and try new ventures.

Taking to her Instagram account last night (14.04.16), the Irish-born beauty said: "After 5 incredible series working with my extended 'I'm A Celeb' family, I've taken the rough decision to hang up my jungle boots... It's been such a wonderful experience but I feel it's time to move on. I wish the team well and look forward to tuning in later this year as well as continuing to work with ITV on other shows. And, although Laura has only just announced the shocking news, Katie Price has wasted no time putting her and her ex-husband Peter Andre's names forward for the open gig.

The 37-year-old former glamour model - who met Peter when they were competing on the main show in 2004 - took to her Twitter account straight away to write: "I would sooo present this how cool if me and Pete did it. (sic)"

The former couple met and fell in love on the main show 11 years ago, they then went on to marry a year later and have two children, Junior, 10 and Princess, eight, together, but their marriage ended in a bitter divorce five years later in 2009.

Katie went on to marry a further two times, while Peter, 43, is now happily married to doctor Emily MacDonagh, with whom he has two-year-old daughter Amelia.
