Nina Wadia, who left the cast of 'Eastenders' earlier this year, has reportedly signed up to star in November's series of 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.

Now that she has wrapped up her role as the hilariously bossy Zainab Masood on the BBC One soap - a character she played for five years - the Australian jungle could play host to her first TV performance since February.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Nina will make a great campmate. Viewers will get to see her mischievous sense of humour, which is something they rarely got to see on 'EastEnders'."

The 43-year-old star is likely to be joined by headline-hitting

Chris Fountain

'Coronation Street' actors Michael Le Vell and Chris Fountain, 'Emmerdale' star Lucy Pargeter and 'The Only Way Is Essex' favourite Joey Essex to face the perils of the terrifying Bushtucker Trials in the Australian outback.

Nina hinted earlier this year she would be embarking on a completely different project following her departure from Albert Square.

She said: "Letting go of something you love is never easy but the time has come to move on. There's a few other projects that are not acting-related coming up for me."

The 13th series of 'I'm a Celebrity' is due to air in November.
