The fashionista, who is known for co-fronting the BBC's 'What Not to Wear', is set to ditch her designer wardrobe for jungle gear after she was dished out a large sum of money to head to Australia and star in this year's reality TV show.

A source said: "We have been after her for years, so this is a major coup. Susannah hasn't done much telly recently but hopes being on the show will kick start her career again.

"She's a woman who knows her own mind and is not afraid to speak out when she thinks something is wrong."

Show bosses are confident the 53-year-old designer will provide endless entertainment for viewers as they watch her struggle to live without her lavish accessories.

The insider added to The Sun newspaper: "We expect her to clash with the campers and definitely ruffle feathers.

"Fans will have a lot of fun seeing her stripped of her usual clothes and slum it in the jungle for the next few weeks."

Meanwhile, it's believed Susannah, who last appeared on national television eight years ago, will be joined by former footballer Kieron Dyer, 36 in the Australian outback.

A source explained: "Sports stars do notoriously well on the show as they bring with them huge amounts of supporters. As an ex-England player he'll bring a huge audience."

Other celebrities being lined up for this year's show include 'Geordie Shore' star Vicky Pattison, rapper 50 Cent, 'Weakest Link' host Anne Robinson and James Arthur.

'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!', which is fronted by comedy duo Ant and Dec, will hit screens on November 15.
