The 'Loose Women' panellist was forced to quick step it home after she lost her fifth dance off to Peter Andre, but she's insisted she's happy to have more time to prepare for the festive season with her two girls Teja, 14, and Tiani, 10.

Speaking about her exit on 'Loose Women' (24.11.15), the 'Superstar' singer said: "It's absolutely fine. I'm happy. I'm gonna go and buy a Christmas tree this week with my girls."

Jamelia's departure from the show was hit by controversy after she claimed the competition had been fixed so that Peter wouldn't be voted off.

However, she's claimed she doesn't blame the 'Mysterious Girl' hitmaker and admitted she enjoyed her experience on the whole.

She explained: "There has been a huge backlash and a lot of people on Twitter having been raving about him saying he should go home but Pete is lovely.

"Pete is not behind the decision making process and I don't think he should bear the brunt of any of this.

"Also I would like to say I don't want what happened on the weekend to overshadow my experience. I had a brilliant time. It was fantastic. A great opportunity. I made some fantastic friends and I'm glad that I did it."
