Judy Murray has now become one of the favourites to be booted from Strictly Come Dancing following Andy Murray's support of the 'Yes' vote in the Scottish referendum.

William Hill have slashed odds on the tennis coach being first to be eliminated this year after Andy revealed he was voting for independence in yesterday's polls.

He wrote on Twitter: "Huge day for Scotland today! no campaign negativity last few days totally swayed my view on it. excited to see the outcome. lets do this! (sic)"

Rupert Adams - a spokesman for William Hill said: "Andy Murray's decision to back the 'Yes' vote in the Scottish referendum could well affect Judy's chances of winning Strictly and she might even be the first contestant voted off."

Judy's odds were reduced to 10/1 from 16/1, meaning she's the sixth favourite to leave, but Tim Wonnacott from Bargain Hunt is favourite to go with odds of 9/4.

Gregg Wallace sits at 3/1 second favourite to leave, but the favourite to win is Pixie Lott, also with 3/1 odds.
