Love Island - Shane Sensationally Leaves the Island

Shane Lynch quit ‘Love Island’ last night (07.08.06) – because he misses his ex-girlfriend.The former Boyzone singer – who was voted the sexiest male on the island by fellow contestants – dramatically walked out after confessing he was desperate to patch things up with singer Sheena White.He said: “I need to leave. If I stay I’ll be cheating myself, the people here and those at home. There are mistakes I’ve made that I need to put right. It’s to do with a woman at home.”Shane split from Sheena four months ago after a two-year relationship. The 30-year-old star confessed none of the attractive women on the show compared to his former partner.He said: “There is no woman here like the woman I know back home. I don’t fancy any of the girls here. They don’t even scratch the surface.”Meanwhile, Sophie Anderton has warned the other girls on the show to stay away from newcomer Calum Best.The model seemed thrilled to see the 27-year-old hunk arrive on the show.
