The 33-year-old dancer is the longest-serving female professional on the prime-time show but has grown sick of tensions with bosses and will leave at the end of the current series.

The blonde beauty has featured on the programme since 2006 and won the competition with broadcaster Chris Hollins in 2009 but has had a souring relationship with show bosses after her dancer husband James Jordan, 37, was axed last year.

A source said: "This has been on the cards a while. She's very loyal to James so when he was forced out it left a sour taste."

Last month Ola - who left the competition in the first week this year after her sprinter partner Iwan Thomas failed to impress audiences with his cha cha - was also slammed by judge Craig Revel Horwood who suggested she should be banned from taking part in "sexy shoots", such as one she did for her 2016 calendar.

The source told The Sun newspaper: "And her calendar shoot was a bit racy, but 'Strictly' dancers aren't paid a huge amount. She has so many work offers, she can't turn down things like that.

"Ola has been amazing on 'Strictly' and in the main it's been a great experience, but it's time to walk away."
