WWE Superstar Sheamus

WWE Superstar Sheamus

WWE wrestler Sheamus would love to appear in a reality television show about himself and fellow WWE Superstars.

The star believes the success of E! reality series Total Divas - following the life of the WWE's female competitors - shows that fans are interested in the lives of the athletes outside the ring, and it's time the men got a shot at it.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz he explained: "I think there should be a new reality show for the guys, I think it would be interesting.

"It should definitely happen now we have the WWE Network. The bigger the Network grows the more content they are going to need and a reality show would definitely take off, especially if it had all the behind-the-scenes stuff.

"Fans want to know more and more about what happens away from the ring, and they want to know about the Superstars as people and what they are all about. The fans are hungry for that knowledge. If it happened, I believe it would be a very successful show."

He insisted that a good format would be following several of the stars on the road whilst travelling between live events and TV shows across America and abroad when they go on tour.

The former World Heavyweight Champion believes viewers could be given an insight into their lives rather than a series based on the WWE Performance Centre training they go through.

"I think the stuff at the Performance Centre would be interesting at first but it could become a bit repetitive, because the wrestlers are doing the same thing every day, five days a week. It could be interesting if there was enough on there and they had other stuff, then maybe it could be a successful show. Maybe a show about life on the road would be better, because you'd get to see how we actually live and what we have to do outside of the ring."

Sheamus and other WWE Superstars are now beginning to get ready for Wrestlemania XXXI, taking place in San Francisco Bay on Sunday, March 29, 2015.

Tickets for the WWE's biggest event in the year are now on-sale at Ticketmaster.com
