Simon Cowell has snuffed out any rumours that Katie Hopkins could join the Britain's Got Talent panel in the future, after she was linked in the press to the show if Simon were to leave.

Speaking at the ELLE Style Awards this week, Cowell responded to questioning from Digital Spy about the potential of Hopkins joining the judges on the talent show.
The controversial music mogul replied: "I'd rather take a bath, fill it with vinegar, cut myself a thousand times, immerse myself slowly for an hour than work with her. So the answer is no!"
The BGT and X Factor boss was at the ceremony to collect his award for Outstanding Contribution to Entertainment from ELLE editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy.
Cowell's status on his UK show in years to come is said to be in doubt following more reports recently on him working on a new format with FOX for an American audience.
