The 'Strictly Come Dancing' host wishes she could join the BBC One show's celebrity contestants on the dance floor but insists she would be "terrible" if she did so.

She told The Sun newspaper: "I physically can't move and I don't believe in sweating. I do terrible dancing.

"You must never ever let me dance in front of you - that must always be a deal and then we are done. I can't remember my wedding dance."

Meanwhile, 'Strictly' professional Aliona Vilani has revealed she is trying to avoid the winner's curse this year, after triumphing on the 2011 series of the show with Harry Judd.

She said: "No Strictly pro has ever won twice so it's like a winner's curse. Even the celebs, before they are partnered up, say, 'Who hasn't won? I want them!' Everyone wants to win it again but it never happens."

And the 31-year-old beauty thinks she's got a good chance of being crowned champion with her celebrity partner, The Wanted's Jay McGuiness.

She added: "Jay has a lot of potential but he is so shy - I need to get that out of him before his first performance, that's my biggest challenge. It is so foreign to him, the whole dancing thing. But he's working hard and learning.

"I wanted to dance with Jay straight away because he is such a lovely guy. But I have no idea how he is going to perform, or how he will respond to criticism from the judges."
