EMI Music, Raw Power Management, 5B Artist Management and fast-rising British metal act Rise To Remain are delighted to announce they have signed a worldwide deal to release the hotly-tipped and critically acclaimed band’s debut album. A thunderous, brutal, melodic and visceral slice of pure rock adrenalin, Rise To Remain’s music represents the finest explosion of British metal talent to emerge in years.

Rise To Remain formed in London in 2008. Although all five members were still in their late teens they quickly set about tearing up the metal scene with incendiary live performances which saw them swiftly added to the bills of both Download and Sonisphere festivals. With a live fanbase building fast they headed into the studio in late 2009 and produced their debut EP, ‘Bridges Will Burn’, which was released in March 2010 on Search And Destroy Records.

A  six-track blast of such ferocious power, ‘Bridges Will Burn’ instantly captured the imagination of metal fans not just in the UK but across Europe, the US and beyond, so much so that Rise To Remain subsequently walked away from the two biggest rock award ceremonies in the UK with a brace of awards. Having toured with the likes of Trivium, Korn, Hatebreed, Five Finger Death Punch, Shadows Fall, Bullet For My Valentine and Iron Maiden, Rise To Remain are poised to become one of the biggest new metal bands in years.

On signing to EMI Music, lead singer Austin Dickinson says, “We’ve had a lot of attention since we formed but wanted to take our time signing a deal so that we could make the album we want to make. We’ve come out of the studio full of fire and ready to blow everyone away. To sign to EMI, a legendary record company that fully understands what we want to do, is a privilege and we can’t wait to get out on the road and give everyone a taste of what we’ve been up to. 2011 is going to be very exciting indeed!!”

Steve Pritchard, Senior Vice President of EMI Music UK, says, “There’s been a lot of talk recently about the death of rock music, seemingly because the singles chart is full of pop acts. But rock and metal has always been about playing live and releasing albums that stand the test of time and the British metal scene is on fire at the moment. We’re very proud to have signed Rise To Remain, one of the most exciting bands in the UK today who not only make music that sets them apart from their peers in its scope and ambition but have a live power that’s unparalleled for a band their age. We look forward to watching them take the world by storm over the next few years.”
