The creators of the hit ITVBe show are set to begin filming the new series - which is billed as a cross between 'The Real Housewives of Cheshire' and 'TOWIE' - next month and will follow the lives of Brits who have moved to the Spanish resort of Marbella.

A spokesperson revealed: "The show will follow the glamorous lives of some of Marbella's most fabulous residents.

"With a wealth of new characters to get to know including club promoters, designer clad housewives, millionaire bachelors and entrepreneurs, the series will reveal what life is really like in Marbella. "Viewers of ITVBe will be familiar with the resort as it's the location for the hugely popular 'The Only Way Is Essex' Marbella specials. "Viewers of 'Life On Marbs' may also get to glimpse some of their ITVBe favourites soaking up the sun and maybe making cameo appearances."

The announcement comes after 'TOWIE' star Elliott Wright revealed he is set to move back to the resort to focus on a business opportunity.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "These kinds of reality shows are becoming more and more popular with viewers.

"Marbella is renowned for being a major party destination and there are bound to be some pretty wild exploits on this show. It looks like it's going to be great TV."

The show is set to air on ITVBe over the summer.
