The 'Scream and Shout' hitmaker has praised the new 'The Voice' coaches, Boy George and Paloma Faith, and feels the programme is more "honest" now.

He said: "He's very quick and funny and Paloma just speaks her mind, which is rare in this business. There's an honesty about the programme now which I like, and it all feels a bit anarchic, as if the parents have left."

And the 40-year-old star also praised former judge Tom Jones, who was shockingly ditched by bosses without any warning.

He added to The Times newspaper: "I really liked Tom. He was great and I understand he was upset, but we move on now and the show goes on again."

Meanwhile, the show's host Marvin Humes insists the viewers will be "blown away" by the new recruits.

He said previously: "People are going to be blown away by these two. They are really, really great for the show and Will i.am and Ricky Wilson do a great job anyway, but I think people are going to be very shocked."
