"At least one Louis" is expected to join 'The X Factor' judging panel.

Simon Cowell hinted earlier this year that he and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini would be the only members of last year's panel to return for the next series of the ITV singing competition.

However, it's now been suggested that Louis Walsh could also return to his seat unless One Direction heartthrob Louis Tomlinson agrees to replace him.

The betting shop William Hill have slashed their odds on Simon and Cheryl returning from 1/10 and 1/12 respectively to 1/33.

Meanwhile, Rita Ora - who was a mentor on rival BBC show 'The Voice' earlier this year - and Louis Walsh have odds of 8/11 and 5/4 respectively, making them third favourites.

And Louis Tomlinson, Robbie Williams and past judges Tulisa and Mel B are also said to be in with a shot according to current bets.

William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly said: "There are pros and cons for all of the candidates in the betting and ultimately, it will be down to Simon to select the panellists. We also think there will be one Louis on the panel, we just aren't sure whether it will be Simon's best pal, Mr. Walsh, or Mr. Tomlinson."
