After hitting over 22 million views for his viral video and duet with Jessie J on singing app Smule, Tom Bleasby started a hashtag to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, a series he's been a fan of for many years.
Eventually being invited to perform on the show, he got more than he had bargained for when a surprise guest - Jessie J - came out to perform with him live for the first time since the video hit the net.
Ellen also started her own hashtag on the show to get her series on air in the UK, after it emerged fans have to take to YouTube if they want to see the host in action.
Tom is currently a contestant on the current series of The X Factor, and was involved in some controversy during the Six Chair Challenge which aired this past weekend. Gaining a seat following his performance, judge Nick Grimshaw at one point opted to swap him out for another contestant, but the audience rebelled which caused Nick to go back on his decision and bring Tom back to his final six.
Now he's through to the Judge's Houses stage of the competition, where only three of the six who made it will go on to compete in this year's live shows.
