A new interview with Rik Mayall has been showcased as Crackanory returns to Dave next week.
In it, Rik tells of how he has always loved storytelling and watched Jackanory as a child before recalling some of his favourite Shakespeare lines.
"I think what makes a great story is a great storyteller" he says, claiming that even "simple" stories can be made great depending on the person reading them - it's all about "seducing the audience".
Crackanory returns to Dave next Wednesday, September 24 with a whole new line-up of talent including as well as Rik, Vic Reeves, David Mitchell, Simon Callow and Katherine Parkinson.
