The Real Housewives of Cheshire is back; what should we expect from the new series?

Expect a lot of surprises, plenty of drama and a lot of laughs! It’s definitely the best series yet!

The teasers have promised drama, but laughs too – how do you find balancing both the chaos and the humour when filming the show?

I try to remain the voice of reason and look at situations objectively. I’m a firm believer in staying true to yourself which I think has helped balance the drama! What you see is what you get with me and I tackle any situation in the show as I would in my everyday life.

You’ve been with the show for five seasons now, so does filming come naturally to you?

I can’t believe it’s my fifth season already! It does now but I do still get a little camera shy at times! The production and crew are amazing to work with and now feel part of my life.

This series we’ll see the introduction of Christine McGuinness; what should audiences expect from her?

You’ll have to wait and see!

We also saw Rachel Lugo and Nermina Pieters-Mekic join the cast last series; what do you think they bring to the show?

Rachel is bonkers and is so fun to be around! Nermina is a strong, powerful role model; she knows what she wants and is not afraid to have an opinion. What you see is what you get with both of them. They’ve brought a lot of laughter to the show!

Leanne Brown has left the show this year; do you miss her being a part of the action?

Aw definitely, I have a lot of time for Leanne, I think she was an integral part of the show. I do think she’s in a really good place at the moment and we do see her out and about!

What would you say are both the best and worst parts of being a part of a reality series such as this one?

I think the best part is having the time with some girlfriends and having some fun. I’m constantly working with my fashion brand Forever Unique, travelling and designing, so it’s nice to catch up and have girl time. Plus, the show has been a great platform for my brand. All the women in Cheshire love to dress and they all love Forever Unique.

I think the worst part is probably being away from work and my family; we’re like passing ships sometimes!

Do you watch any of the other Real Housewives shows from across the globe? If so, which are your favourites and who are some of your favourite Housewives?

I love The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, in particular, Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards. I’ve actually met Kyle before as she stocks Forever Unique in her boutique. I think they are both strong, opinionated women with drive and ambition, which is something I really admire.

You’re not just a reality star but an accomplished businesswoman, so what advice would you have for our readers who may just be starting out in the world of business and hope to be a success?

I would say to never doubt yourself; believing in yourself makes all the difference. Always graft, to not be complacent, to be grateful and enjoy yourself along the way.

Finally, what’s next for you in the coming weeks and months?

It’s Forever Unique’s 10th anniversary this year which is hugely exciting for us. We have a lot of amazing plans in the pipeline, including global expansion, so watch this space!
