'Emmerdale's Aaron Livesy feels responsible for the injuries his lover Jackson Walsh suffered in the shocking train crash in the soap last night (06.10.10).

'Emmerdale's' Aaron Livesy will blame himself for his boyfriend's accident.

Danny Miller - who plays the teenage mechanic in the ITV soap - has revealed how his alter-ego will struggle to cope as his lover Jackson Walsh recovers from the horrific injuries sustained in the train crash last night (06.10.10) following an argument between the pair.

Obviously Jackson's really injured and now it's testing Aaron to see if he can cope or not, whether he can care for someone for the first time in his life

Danny told BANG Showbiz: "He doesn't cope very well with it. He blames himself for the fact that he was ringing him and he starts to think of different options like maybe if he had gotten out of the van just a few seconds later the train would have gone past and Jackson would have walked away."

The 19-year-old actor also revealed the accident - which leaves Jackson (Marc Silcock) fighting for his life in hospital - will force Aaron to finally confront his sexuality.

He explained: "He can't come to terms with the fact that he's gay, living his life as the gay bloke. Obviously Jackson's really injured and now it's testing Aaron to see if he can cope or not, whether he can care for someone for the first time in his life."

Danny also admitted he doesn't know if his alter-ego will ever be capable of loving anyone - because of his troubled childhood - but is hopeful for Aaron's and Jackson's future.

He said: "Aaron is so used to Jackson being the strong one and now with Jackson injured he has to be the strong one and that's the test. There are a few moments in the coming months where you'll see Aaron is coming to terms with it and starting to face up to people who are questioning him kissing Jackson. It's nice to see him defending who he is for the first time rather than curling up and dying in a ball."
