Angela Griffin wants to return to 'Coronation Street'.
It was a long time ago but I'd always be up for going back. I'd like to pop in and out.
The actress - who played Fiona Middleton in the ITV1 soap from 1993 until 1998 - admits she would love to have the chance to "pop in and out" of the show on a regular basis.
She said: "It was a long time ago but I'd always be up for going back. I'd like to pop in and out."
Since leaving the show, the 33-year-old star has been appearing in 'Waterloo Road' and fronts her own TV show 'Angela and Friends' on Sky1.
Although she loves what she does, Angela would love to make a reappearance on the programme and has even discussed returning for a storyline involving her alter-ego's former flame Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson).
She said: "I was at a party and one of the 'Corrie' writers said he wanted to write a storyline involving Steve's women. It would be fantastic - Fiona, Vicky and Karen all on the Street at the same time. Just think how Steve - and Becky - would react."
