'Coronation Street's Nick Tilsley could become the next victim of soap bad boy David Platt.
The soap heartthrob - who is returning to the ITV show played by ex-'Footballer's Wives' star Ben Price - will make waves when he kisses his half-brother's ex-girlfriend, Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) - which could earn him a place on David's (Jack P. Shepherd) hit list.
A source told Inside Soap: "David harbours an awful lot of resentment toward Nick anyway - If David he finds out his sibling has had anything to do with Tina, there'll be hell to pay."
I'm absolutely delighted to get this part. I'm really looking forward to stamping my own mark on Nick.
Nevertheless Ben said he is looking forward to taking on his new role - which will see him live around the corner from ex-wife Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and ex-fiancee Maria Connor (Samia Smith).
He said: "I'm absolutely delighted to get this part. I'm really looking forward to stamping my own mark on Nick."
Nick and David share the same mother, Gail Platt (Helen Worth), but have different fathers.
The character of Nick has been played by two actors previous to Ben, Warren Jackson - who held the role between 1981 and 1996 and Adam Rickitt, who played Nick on and off between 1997 and 2004, when Nick moved to Nottingham.
