Bill Roache's wife Sara died of "natural causes" following a heart attack.
The 77-year-old 'Coronation Street' actor - who has played Ken Barlow in the ITV soap for the past 48 years since its first episode in December 1960 - was devastated to lose his wife of more than 30 years in February.
At the time of her death, he said: "We loved Sara very much and we are all in a state of shock. We can't believe she is no longer with us."

It has now been confirmed 58-year-old Sara - who died at the couple's home in Wilmslow, Cheshire - had a heart attack and then passed away from natural causes.
The couple, who were described as inseparable by family and friends, had two grown-up children, Verity, 29, and Will, 23.
Sara - who was a well known charity fundraiser and actress - had appeared in shows including 'Coronation Street', 'Cracker' and 'Emmerdale', as well as being an extra in the Oscar-winning film 'Chariots of Fire'.
Following her death, Bill paid tribute to his "perfect wife" at a memorial service which was packed full of family and friends, including a number of 'Coronation Street' stars.
