'Emmerdale' star Charlotte Bellamy has become a mother for the third time.

The actress - who plays Laurel Thomas in the ITV soap - gave birth to 7lb 9oz daughter Teddie Boo Florence yesterday morning (19.10.09) and both mother and baby are doing well.

Charlotte - who already has two sons, Sunnie and Herbie, with husband Mungo Denison - said of her new arrival: "She is beautiful and perfect and we are totally over the moon!"

Charlotte began her maternity leave earlier this month and recently said she was struggling to hide her baby bump on screen.

She said: "My main challenge during filming is hiding my bump - I keep walking with bags in front of me and have to breathe in!"

Charlotte - whose second pregnancy was written into 'Emmerdale' scripts - is due to resume filming in the New Year and will reappear on screen in the spring.

Teddie Boo Florence is already the second soap baby to be born this week, after 'Coronation Street' star Samia Smith gave birth to a girl yesterday (19.10.09), whom she has named Freya.
