'Coronation Street' star Katherine Kelly was forced to wear her alter-ego's tacky clothes after her suitcase went missing.

The blonde star - who plays Weatherfield loud mouth Becky McDonald in the ITV soap - had flown to Romania to film a spin-off show.

However, her luggage got lost, forcing her to wear Becky's outfits, which included bikinis.

She said: "My suitcase didn't arrive for two days and I phoned the producer. He was panicking because he thought it was Becky's giant leopard-print suitcase. He didn't seem bothered when I explained it was my personal one.

Katherine was in Romania filming the 'Romanian Holiday', DVD spin-off, which also stars cafe owners Roy and Hayley Cropper, played by David Nielson and Julie Hesmondhalgh respectively.

Julie said of the show: "It's a comedy of errors and a caper with a twist in the tale."
