Tina O'Brien reportedly split from Ryan Thomas because she was jealous of his on-screen romps with Michelle Keegan.

The former 'Coronation Street' star - who ended her six-year relationship with her ex co-star earlier this month - was said to be hugely jealous of his close friendship with sexy Michelle and their kissing scenes.

Tina - mother of Ryan's 13-month-old daughter Scarlett - has accused Ryan (Jason Grimshaw) of fancying Michelle, who plays his alter-ego's lover Tina McIntyre.

It caused a lot of rows at home. Tina would get jealous and accuse him of fancying Michelle. She couldn't stand watching them kiss each other.

A source told Britain's Daily Star Sunday: "Tina has been feeling vulnerable since leaving the Street two years ago. She was no longer in the limelight as much as Ryan and felt quite left out at times. Seeing Ryan on telly with this gorgeous young thing did not exactly help matters.

"It caused a lot of rows at home. Tina would get jealous and accuse him of fancying Michelle. She couldn't stand watching them kiss each other."

The couple split earlier this month after a series of rows, which came to a head after Ryan was questioned by police following a car crash.
