Danniella Westbrook will reveal her character has become a topless model upon her 'EastEnders' return.

The actresses' character, Sam Mitchell, returns to the BBC soap from living in Brazil wearing a minidress and telling people she is a top glamour model. However, her cousin Roxy soon finds out she actually makes her money from seedy photoshoots.

Although Roxy (Rita Symons) promises not to tell Sam's mother and brother, she makes it clear it will cost her.

She tells her: "You want me to keep quiet? I want a cut. A new top should do - Oh sorry, you don't do tops, do you? Only top-less."

Sam's return is going to be one of the biggest television events of the year. There will be tears and laughter all round. Danniella and Sid are thrilled to be back together. It's just like the good old days.

Sam confesses to her she isn't going to get paid for the shots though, because she is too old and can't find work in London.

She will be seen sobbing to Roxy: "They turned me down, okay? I'm too old, I've lost it. I can't even do that. If I ain't got my looks, what else have I got?"

Sam - who returns to the show next Friday (11.08.09) - is also set to quickly get close to her ex-husband, Ricky Butcher, played by Sid Owen.

A BBC insider told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Sam's return is going to be one of the biggest television events of the year. There will be tears and laughter all round. Danniella and Sid are thrilled to be back together. It's just like the good old days."

Sam has left the soap a few times since Danniella first played her in the soap in 1990, the last time being in 2005, at which time she was being played by Kim Medcalf. The character was written out of the soap twice while played by Danniella because of her off screen problems with cocaine.
