'EastEnders' star Don Gilet enjoys playing "evil" Lucas Johnson.
The actor - whose alter-ego is about to kill Owen Turner following on from his murder of ex-wife Trina - isn't sure how much more damage Lucas will cause in Albert Square but is looking forward to the future storylines.
He said: "I really don't know where he goes from here. Using common sense you feel there's a natural end to certain things - there's an arc of a story - and you think how long can you get away with this? Is there more to him? Is he likely to do this again?
He's a very good character to play because of his complexity.
"Those questions haven't been revealed to me yet, so I don't know but I'm quite happy to take one day at a time.
"At some point they'll have to tell me how far he goes but until they do that I'm on the crest of this complex and evil wave so I'm having fun with it."
Don believes Lucas' problems stem from his drug past.
He told website Digital Spy: "He's a very good character to play because of his complexity.
"I think that's partly because he's a guy who always strives to do the right thing but his path for doing that gets warped as time goes on.
"I think his heart started off in the right place but - partly because of his drug-addled years - he has a slightly warped outlook on life."
