Charlie G Hawkins says his 'EastEnders' alter-ego would be devastated if he turns out to be the father of Heather Trott's baby.
The actor - who plays Albert Square's wannabe entrepreneur Darren Miller - admits the teenager's world will be shaken to the core if he is revealed as the dad.
Talking about Darren - who plans to propose to girlfriend Libby Owen within the next few weeks - and the baby situation, he said: "It would change everything.
But they're so hyper - after an hour with them, I'm knackered! Everyone says I was mad at that age as well, so they get it from me for sure
"Darren would worry that Libby wouldn't marry him - and what about Libby's parents Denise and Owen?
"I think he'd be alright as a dad, but he wouldn't want the burden. It'd rock the boat if it was Darren."
The identity of the father of Heather's unborn baby still remains a mystery, but Charlie's says he's had experience with children if he does end up working with Walford's newest resident.
He told Inside Soap magazine: "My brother's got a three-year-old boy and a one-year-old girl, and I love them to bits. But they're so hyper - after an hour with them, I'm knackered! Everyone says I was mad at that age as well, so they get it from me for sure."
