James Sutton wants Craig Gazey to star in 'Emmerdale'.

The actor - who plays Ryan Lamb in the ITV soap - is keen for the 'Coronation Street' star to swap Weatherfield for the Yorkshire Dales as he knows they work well together.

He said: "I'd really like him on the show. We once did a play together called 'The Pitchfork Disney' - it was basically the two of us on stage for an hour and a half.

My life is quite boring outside of work. I've just moved into an apartment next door to one of the show's directors, so there's been a few late nights - but definitely nothing too rock 'n' roll!

"He was awesome and we worked well together. Maybe he could come into 'Emmerdale' as one of the Dingles and become Ryan's good friend..."

Ryan is rumoured to be dating his 'Emmerdale' co-star Sammy Winward but he insists his life outside of work is not very interesting.

He added to Inside Soap magazine: "My life is quite boring outside of work. I've just moved into an apartment next door to one of the show's directors, so there's been a few late nights - but definitely nothing too rock 'n' roll!"
