Hollyoaks Brings Back Old Faces

'Hollyoaks' bosses are set to bring back two former characters.

Producers of the Channel 4 soap are keen to spice up the show and think the return of two familiar faces will help do this.

An insider said: "The return of two old characters is massive for us. Everyone is extremely excited about what their return means and the impact it is going to have.

However, one old face who is definitely set to return is Jake Dean, played by Kevin Sacre, and the actor says he can't wait to reprise the role

"It's going to be a blockbuster few months for the show."

The identity of the characters remain a mystery but names in the mix include Lisa Hunter (Gemma Atkinson), Jambo (Will Mellor) and Davinia Taylor (Jude Cunnigham).

However, one old face who is definitely set to return is Jake Dean, played by Kevin Sacre, and the actor says he can't wait to reprise the role.

He said: "I'm going back to 'Hollyoaks' but I can't tell you what's going to happen.

"I always said I'd go back but I was never sure when that would happen. Jake's a great character, I love playing him. The show is kind of known for good-looking guys so it was nice to play a character who's got a bit of an edge."

In the show, Jake is about to be released from prison after pleading guilty to a murder he didn't commit.
